- Formation of bow knot defects due to abrasion or damage to tying machine parts, knotter flat spring weakening, accumulation of paper dust etc. are constantly monitored, allowing tying failures to be detected.
*Faulty Knot Detect Device is not designed to detect all possible tying failures.
*In conjunction with the discharge conveyor option, loads with detected irregularities can be removed from the production line.

Correctly tied knot 
- Tightly fastened knot with two equally-sized loops and short and long ends

Single knot (missing knot) 
- At a glance this knot defect seem to be correctly tied and is difficult to detect by eye (after production, unraveled in robot palletizer, shipment or end-user box-making machine can result in claims)

Loosened knot
- The string is loosened from string holder and cannot perform continuous tying

Joint obstruction - Faulty knot caused by obstruction between joint and knot during continuous use of thread roll
